Such a classic taste comes from a wonderful heritage. Sixty years ago, the first generation of Mr. Li Minlang opened the “Kaihuanglin” bakery at Chang’an E. Rd., Jhongshan Dist., Taipei City 104, Taiwan. Master Li was born in the birthplace of Han cake culture-Taichung. He has been delving into various kinds of Han cake culture and western style pastry since he was a teenager, and has accumulated solid and skillful technique. Plus the material is rich and delicate, so regardless of the Moon Festival, the Chinese New Year, or the weekdays is always crowded with visitors. The Han cake made by the old master is not only loved by the elders, but even the wife who married the Li family was surprised when she first tasted it. From then on, she fell in love with the simple and delicate taste of the Han cake.
